As the R&D center and machine line developer of the major packaging group Huhtamaki, we are an important link in the global transition to sustainable packaging materials. More and more food producers are moving away from single-use plastic. As a result, our role, as well as our number colleagues, continues to grow. Our HR department manages this continuous growth in human resources and in the meantime continues to build a solid HR foundation for our young branch.

In 2019, we started with about 40 people here in Leeuwarden. By mid-2021, that number had already doubled – and the growth is far from over. For recruitment & selection we are now supported by external specialists for recruitment and selection, so that other HR matters such as training, coaching, talent and organizational development also receive sufficient attention. As you can see, Huhtamaki Fiber Technology is also a very dynamic company when it comes to HR.
